    SECTION 1 — INTRODUCTION

    The Ecovillage at Currumbin is a 270‑acre, award‑winning sustainable community managed by the Principal Body Corporate and maintained by the Eco‑Tones Caretaker team. The site includes more than 20 community facilities such as the Community Hall, kitchen, playgrounds, ball court, oval, café, RRR workshop, and shared outdoor spaces.
    The Ecovillage contains extensive wildlife habitats and protected ecological corridors. Dogs and cats are prohibited across all private and common property under the Community Management Statement and Council covenant.
    All contractors and visitors must comply with the Queensland Work Health and Safety Act 2011, Ecovillage By‑laws, and all directions from the Caretaker.

    SECTION 2 — KEY INFORMATION

    • Speed limits: 40 km/h on Village Way, 25 km/h on all other roads.
    • All roads are shared with pedestrians and cyclists.
    • Wildlife moves unpredictably — kangaroos, wallabies, echidnas, snakes, and birdlife. Please drive slow if wildlife are besides any road
    • Underground services (gas, electrical, communications, sewer, recycled water) are located in shared trenches.
    • You must sight service plans before excavation.
    • No mechanical excavation within 1 metre of known services.
    • Stop work immediately if unexpected services are found.

    FIRST AID & PPE (locations as per site plan)

    Defibrillators: Community Centre and RRR Centre Mandatory

    PPE (to be supplied by you): safety glasses, high‑vis long sleeves, steel caps, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen.

    OPERATIONAL HOURS
    Work permitted Monday–Saturday, 6:30am–5:00pm.

    No work on Sundays or Public Holidays.

    Only emergency work is allowed outside of these hours.

    HOUSEKEEPING
    Keep areas tidy. No tools left unattended. No unattended open trenches or holes. Use barrier mesh. Cover cables. Roll up leads. No leads left out overnight.

    The WWTP area is only accessible with WWTP Operators approval. Contact the caretaker if you need to access this fenced area. A separate ibnduction will need to be conducted for this

    SECTION 6 — HIGH‑RISK WORK

    High‑risk work includes working at heights, excavation, chainsaw use, plant operation, confined spaces, electrical work, or chemical handling.
