checklistpastafrescaHello Jotform Support,
We have been experiencing a serious access issue with Jotform for the past few days from Vietnam.
The problem affects multiple locations and multiple internet providers. The issue is consistent across different Wi-Fi networks, while Jotform works normally when:
- Using a VPN
- Using a mobile 5G connection
Initially, we were unable to access the Jotform homepage at all. Currently, some parts of the platform are accessible, but public forms such as:
/jf/form.jotform.com/251348737834062
are still inaccessible.
After investigating, we found that on affected networks the domain:
is resolving to:
When attempting to connect directly, the server returns a self-signed SSL certificate, causing browsers to display certificate errors (NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID).
Example output:
nslookup form.jotform.com
Result: 125.212.193.174
curl -Iv /jf/form.jotform.com
SSL certificate problem: self signed certificate
Because the issue disappears immediately when using a VPN or mobile data, we suspect a DNS, routing, or infrastructure issue affecting access to Jotform from Vietnam.
This is impacting our business operations, as multiple team members rely on Jotform daily.
Could you please investigate whether:
- There have been any recent infrastructure or DNS changes affecting Vietnam.
- You are aware of similar reports from other users in Vietnam.
- Any specific IP ranges, DNS providers, CDN routes, or network paths are currently experiencing issues.
We would appreciate any guidance or updates you can provide.
Thank you for your assistance.
Best regards,
Valerio Di Veglia

Sheena JotForm SupportHi Valerio,
Thanks for using Jotform. I created a ticket and escalated this to our Developers. Although we don't know exactly when it'll be fixed, we’ll circle back to this thread when we have an update.

checklistpastafrescaHi Sheena,
Thank you for the update and for escalating the issue.
I wanted to share an additional finding that may help the investigation. While accessing a Jotform link from this support thread, I was redirected to an official Vietnamese government warning page related to illegal gambling websites.
In recent months, Vietnamese authorities have become much stricter in blocking gambling-related domains and online betting platforms. Based on what I am seeing, it appears that one of the Jotform domains may have been incorrectly flagged or included in a blacklist used by local authorities or internet providers.
Given the nature of the page displayed, this does not appear to be a normal connectivity issue. It looks more like a domain classification or filtering problem affecting access from within Vietnam.
I understand that the issue has been escalated, but I would appreciate any additional support or visibility into the investigation. We have already paid for a full year of service and are only about halfway through our subscription period, so this issue is having a significant impact on our ability to use a service we rely on every day.
Please let me know if your developers would like screenshots or any further information from our side.
Thank you again for your assistance.
Best regards,
Valerio Di Veglia

Sheena JotForm SupportHi Valerio,
Thank you for the additional information. The possibility that the domain may have been incorrectly classified or filtered locally is helpful context for our investigation. To assist our Developers further, could you provide a screenshot or short screen recording showing the redirect to the Vietnamese government warning page, along with the exact URL you attempted to access when it occurred.
Additionally, if possible, let us know which ISP you were using at the time and whether you're using your ISP's default DNS servers or a public DNS provider such as Google (8.8.8.8) or Cloudflare (1.1.1.1). You can upload it to Google Drive, Dropbox, or record with Loom and send us the link. We'll add any information you can share to the existing escalation so our team can continue investigating.
Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.

checklistpastafrescaHi Sheena,
Thank you for your reply.
I have attached the screenshot showing the Vietnamese government warning page that appeared when accessing:
There was no specific form ID or additional path in the URL. I simply accessed the domain itself and was redirected to the warning page shown in the screenshot.
At the time, I was using my internet provider’s default DNS settings. After changing my DNS settings, I was able to access Jotform again.
I hope this information helps your Developers with their investigation. Please let me know if there is anything else I can provide.
Thank you for your assistance.
Best regards,
Valerio
