Form Submission Reports: Automatically Generate and Email to Submitters

    thanks for this and the great app! Is it possible to generate a report based on each form submission that is then automatically sent to the submitting individual ?

    Hi Maria,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. If you're referring to a report created using the Report Builder, this functionality isn't currently supported. While you can share the report with your users, there isn't an option to filter the report data so that each user only sees their own submissions.

    As an alternative, you can set up an Autoresponder Email that is automatically sent after a user submits the form. In that email notification, you can attach a PDF copy of their submission, allowing them to view the information they submitted. You can easily attach PDF submissions to your Autoresponder Email. Let me show you how: 

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.

    2. Then, in the menu on the left side of the page, click on Emails.

    3. Now, hover your mouse over the Autoresponder Email and click on Edit.

    4. Next, click on the Advanced tab, toggle on Attach PDF, and select the PDF file you created.

    5. Now, scroll down, and then click on Save
