Jotform makes it easy to export all of your forms, submissions, and uploaded files at once. This can be useful when creating a backup of your account or keeping a copy of your data outside of Jotform.
When exporting your data, you can choose which types of information to include, such as form submissions, uploaded files, and form configurations. Everything is packaged into a single ZIP file, making it easy to download and store your data in one place.
You can export your forms, submissions, and uploaded files from a single location in your account settings. Here’s the quick way to do it:
- On your Workspace page, click on your Avatar/Profile icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Then, in the menu that opens, click on Settings.
- Next, in the menu on the left, click on Data.
- Then, in the Export Data section, click on Download My Data.
- Now, in the Export Data window that opens, click on Create New Report.
- Then, in the Select Time Frame section, click on the Downward Arrow icon to open the date picker.
- Next, select a custom date range from the Date Picker, or choose one of the available preset date ranges from the list on the right.
- After that, in the Select Data to Export section, tick the checkboxes next to the types of data you want to include in the export:
- Form Submissions — Export submission data collected through your forms.
- Uploaded Files — Export files that were uploaded through your forms.
- Forms — Export your form configurations and settings.
- AI Conversations — Export conversation history and chat transcripts from your AI Agents.
- Then, click on Prepare Download.
Note
The time it takes will depend on the total size of your data. If you have many forms, uploaded files, or submission entries, give it some time to finish.
- Once your export file is ready, hover over it and click on Download to save the ZIP file to your device.
Alternatively, you can download the export file from the notification email sent to your registered email address.
That’s it! The completed export provides a downloadable copy of your selected Jotform data that can be used for backup, archiving, or record-keeping purposes.
