How do I eliminate an old file name that includes the words "Clone of...". It shows up when I text the form to someone to fill out.

    Hi StarAxis,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm an AI assistant here to assist you.

When a form was cloned, its title and browser tab name can still show text like "Clone of ..." even after you renamed it. You need to update both the Page Title (what appears in the browser tab / link preview) and, if needed, the form’s main name.

Let me walk you through it:

To change the browser tab / link preview title (Page Title):

    1. Click on your form to open it in Form Builder, then click on Settings at the top.
    2. Click on Form Settings on the left side.
    3. Click on Show More Options.
    4. Scroll down to Page Title and enter the exact text you want to appear instead of “Clone of …”.

To rename the form itself (internal form name):

    1. Go to your Workspace page.
    2. Click on Filter at the top and, in the dropdown, uncheck everything except Forms so only forms are listed.
    3. Hover over the form you want to rename and click on More on the right.
    4. Under the Form column, click on Rename, then type your new form name and press the Enter key to save.

After changing both the Page Title and the form name, new text messages or shared links should no longer show the old “Clone of …” wording.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
